 what we want...
...as a church here in Marzahn, Berlin, we want to be a home for young people and families.
We are a community of Christians searching for God, celebrating him and serving him. We are building close relationships between one another full of acceptance, forgiveness, love and trust.
We want to provoke the interest of atheists and those who don’t like church in the Gospel (the good news about Jesus Christ), and to offer them the opportunity to encounter the love of God.
As representatives of Jesus Christ we want to influence Marzahn for the better, and we enjoy working together with other churches and social projects.
 What we belive
Kirche43 is a free evangelical Church belonging to the Mülheimer Verband, and a full member of the ACK (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Christlicher Kirchen). Therefore we followthe statement of faith of the Muellheimer Union. The basis for our community and our personal lives is the Bible, that we recognise as the infallible Word of God. The Bible directs both our thinking and our actions.
Who we want to reach
We want to focus what we offer on young people and families in Marzahn. Naturally we are always also open to all ages and people groups.
Goals
- To spread a future-oriented perspective through activities, discussion groups and trips
- To build up each individual’s self-esteem and self-confidence
- To support independence and the development of a sense of responsibility
- To encourage people to seek to resolve conflicts positively, and to offer conflict resolution courses. To develop tolerance and understanding(against racism and xenophobia)
- To build community and relationships within the group, and to enable social engagement
- To offer people to talk to
- To communicate the values of the Christian faith
- To encourage personality development and to help people to discover and develop their talents and abilities
- To help people to engage critically with the media and youth culture
Activities- Creative worship services
- Small groups, in which the Christian life is put into practice
- Discussion groups about the values and basics of the Christian faith
- Organization of trips and time away
- A variety of sports and free-time activities
